Java with Jonathan!
What is this all about?
In our ministry, story is one of our central values. Stories matter, and since every story is connected to someone, this means that people matter. You matter!
Unfortunately, there are not that many places where men can share their story (their full story) without fear of shame or judgment. But until a guy gets the full story out into the light, there really isn't much hope for change and growth. Java with Jonathan could be a great first step for getting your story out in a grace-filled conversation.
Jonathan wants to hear your story; all the brokenness, the pain, the failures. He wants to encourage you for the next leg of your journey. He won't pretend to have all the answers (or even most of them!), but he will listen with a compassionate ear. Sometimes that's what you need most when you're drowning in life.
So, if you want a free cup of coffee and one hour of non-judgmental listening and encouragement, then schedule Java with Jonathan.

FAQ's
Who will you meet with?
Men who are struggling with sexual brokenness issues like porn, infidelity, etc.
Who will you not meet with?
Women. Sorry, ladies, it wouldn't be appropriate.
Where will you meet?
In and around the San Antonio area at public coffee shops or restaurants. Specific locations will be determined through the meeting request of the man scheduling time with Jonathan. We want to make it convenient for both parties.
Is this a counseling session?
NO! Jonathan is not a counselor and the meeting doesn't constitute a counselor-client relationship. This is simply a meeting of two regular guys. Jonathan will, however, treat this meeting as confidential, in the same way heI would approach a voluntary support group environment. Your privacy is as important to Jonathan as it is to you.
How do you schedule a meeting?
Go here or click on the button at the bottom of this page to use Jonathan's online scheduling calendar. Just select the date and time that works for you and you're done..
How available are you to meet?
Jonathan reserves Thursdays as his JWJ meeting day. Remember, this isn't counseling so there aren't going to be ongoing Java meetings. This is a place to get your story out so you aren't carrying the burden of your secrets. For ongoing help, we would suggest plugging into some of our ministry resources following the Java meeting.
Will you meet with one guy more than once?
Maybe. Jonathan really wants to reserve the Java meeting for simply telling your story, not a counseling or coaching type session. If you need more time to get your story out, we can consider a 2nd Java meet up. Otherwise, we can help steer you toward some great ongoing resources from our ministry.
